Yours of 22d Inst. we duly receivd by Turner & Jeffries with 4 hhds tobacco which will gave lookd at and send you the Weights by the Bearer if the Inspector comes early to the Warehouse — There is 5 hhds that you mention being sent that we cant find on the Inspectors Books below you have a Note of them agreeable to the list you sent us, it is not in our power to guess what can have become of them unless the Waggoners carry'd them to some other W.house, the Hhd of Stephen Carolle we imagine is the same hhd that we gave Johnston & Thackston cr. for as there is no such name as Carroll on the Inspectors Books in the Note it is inserted S. Carrde and has been Pickd. the No. is 2466. 715. 110. 605 th youll please enquire of these Gent. if they sent such a hhd if not it must be the same you mention when will give you enforced we are Respectfully Gent
