We wrote you the 24th & 29 ult. pr the Peter Cap. Lang to which refer — In the former we sent you Invoice of Goods shiped in the Peter Amounting with all charges £324.7.2 Ster: — the last advised that Cask of [show?] No 12. had been seized by the Custom house officers for being short of weight — Upon application to the Comssioners of the Customs we have got said Cash returned to us and have shipt the same on board the Ocean Cap: Ewing as pr Invoice annexed, which wish safe to hand and to a good Market. We hope it will be no great Inconvenience the said Cask not being sent with the rest of your Goods. We are with esteem Gent: ~ your very huml: Servts John & John Alston
