Misters Johnston and Bennehan, Milners 12 Jan. 1775

Sirs

We are this day favour'd with yours of the 5th [instant?] by Elisha Dyar and two [thousand?] tobacco to be insp'd in the name of James Dyar, which shall be done as soon as the Inspectors comes to the warehouse, Also two [thousand?] which has been delivered us this morning by 2 Rollers on your [account?] to be in the name of James Gur. and Benjamin Allentharp - At foot is a note of the six [thousand?] sent us formerly, which we have taken the liberty to use, and shall either return you good Carolina Tob(acco) or pay you money as we can agree. - Inclosed is an account of the Salt [?] Sent which is put to your credit - It will be obliging us verry particularly if you will procure a person to carry the inclosed to Hillsb(oro) - We will cheerfully pay the expence, as it contains some papers of consequence to Mr [Monro?] and us - We are respectfully Sirs Your most Humble Servants Michl. and Jn.o Wallace [?]
