Dear Sir Hillborough April 5th 1775

The bearer Jacob Garrard brought me a release from
Dickens and Parker for his improvement and seems very anxious
to receive his pay from me, the bargain was (pound sign) 12 _ four
of which I have paid him and for the remaining eight if
you will let him have goods on my [?] it will much
oblige me_ If you meet with any first and an opportunity
of sending a few up [hither] I shale esteem it a favour _ When
you have it in your power pray let me know how poor [Edge?]
is and if there an [?] probability of his recovery. God bless
