Status: Needs Review

Dear Sir Nov. 24 1778
It is a long time since we heard
from you and I assure you the whole family
are exceedingly anxious to be informed of
the welfare of you and yours. I am sorry
to inform you that [Mr.?] Jones is in a very
low State and I [realy?] almost despair
of her ever getting well, I am sure she can
not tell she is delivered, and that will
not be [tell?] [illegible]. She wants much to see
you and Polly. And hopes you will come
as soon as convenience & the weather per
mits. I assure you I am in a [illegible] situ
ation; but hope [Mr.?] Jones will yet do well.
[Mr.?] Jones presents her love to you & Polly
give my love to her [illegible] & believe
me with the most sincere Esteem and
affection
[illegible] Sir
Your
Allen Jones
