Gentlemen
We are favord with yours of the
13" with two Hhds Tobacco which we hope to be able
to advise you the fate of before we seal this, & if it [illegible]
shall be delivered to M Buchanan agreeable to your
directions- The Note you sent us we have already
delivered [illegible]__ The two Hhds bought by Tomlinson
are not yet pickt this we have repeatedly spoken to
the Inspectors- as soon as they are, shall advise you
what is saved- below you have a state of the two sort
formerly by [illegible]- There are no Spring Goods yet
arrived here- & [consequently?] have been able to supply
but few of the Articles you or [deed?] & [indeed?] to have
got all we must have gone to half the Stores in Town
