Sir,
I recd. yours under date the sixth July last, after observing the contince, have only to obseverve to you retatince to the taking of depositions; that there is a Mr. James Sneed, in my [vicinity?], tho in Williams on Country, whose testimony will go to show that James Gallaway decsd. in his lifetime in conversation with the said Sneed, at the place called Bachelors Hole, observed to him the said Sneed, that Constant Perkins now decsd. had no concerns at that place: This fact can be established by the Testimony of Mr Sneed, which in my opinion is [essential?], you will have myself onward a Companion for that purpose. My house can be in [?] for the transaction of that business [for?] if necessary, the house of Mr. Phillip Manan in the Town of Franklin in the aforementioned County of Williamson.
