Dear Sir:
I reached home last night, having been absent
in Service of the State and will leave tomorrow for the same
business - and was sorry, I was not here, when you came to take
the tax List, but I hope my Tax List you find below will
be in time. I have five thousand dollars in what I consider good notes

Land as in old tax list, 1007 Acres

three (3)	Negro	men	aged	about	25	years
three (3)	negro	women	"	"	24	"
1 of them Sickly
one (1)	"	man	"	"	68	"
three (3)	"	children	"	"	7	"
five (5)	"	children	"	under	5	"

The above you will please find as a list in a [ruf] State,
which I hope will answer your purpose.
