sticking in the fork of a tree -- We met two men from Munroe

leaves dot the rolling sand hills very prettily -- made 24 miles --

Thursday -- Oct. 19th --
Dr. Feay calls our camp of last night -- Bejaria
(pronounced Beharia) -- plenty of that shrub growing about --
We left at 25 minutes to 7 -- A bright & beautiful day-; fine

having taken in a supply of smoked glass at Dr. Peacocks we had a
fine view of it, from time to time, as we rode along -- All nature
