Wm J Jaggers his money $45. his will & his deed to his land,
notes &c A bad state of affairs round about here about now
William Jaggers is not expected to live verry low Some
a week ago took the old man Jaggers Mare, gone, & Wm McCinley
pretends some one has stole his gray horse he got of Wm
James Jaggers

Elizabeth Pinnion (Marens) & her two children came last night
& stayed all night She thinks Pinion is drowned The Opinion
of the people is otherwise & that he is about here

Williams sorrel Mare had a filly colt last night in the woods
lott amongst all the horses, studs & mules, not hurt, a fine
Colt Sorrel I took her & it to the long lott & put her in it
fed her with Corn, put up the fences & everything else Out.

I got a bottle of Bulls Sarsparrilla Bitters I have used 5
or 6 Bottles.

The Morning is quite cold No frost. Wind N. W. Our garden
is doing tolerable well We have plenty of lettices, mustard
Onions & radishes for our little family. John Henderson is
working in the garden
