It rained some during the night with some thunder not enough
of rain to be a season There was a verry greate number of

Ed. Wilson came this evening & stayed all night.

This morning is a little cloudy Wind from the West George H
Rich & me fixed up the gate near the Smoke house George is
shearing our 2 sheep that was not sheared We have 6 grown ones
& one lamb 3 blacks & 4 whites We put the bell on one

Working in the Garden We gave George about the one fourth of
the Wool for Shearing &c It has turned quite warm I took off
my thick flannen Shirt Kept on my thin one I shaved Washed
my feet &c & put on clean clothes. I feel better.

There was a little shower of rain this morning done some good
not a season Some thunder It came from the West. William
did not git home last night I feel better this morning I got
up early & was able to see to the feading &c We got of George
Hargrove over 100 beat plants & set them out There was a verry
heavy thunder storm passed from S.W. to N.E. lasted about 3/4
