Preston & George & Corn } Press & George halled me 4 loads of Corn 2 in the litle & 2 in the large Wagon & themselves 3 in the little & 2 in the large Wason 5 loads
William William went to B. B. & stayed all night & came home at night
Was not in Town

1867 Decemr Wed 18th } The morning is much cooler the Wind is changed to the North William did not get home last night I suppose he has gone to see Martha Jane who is sick on B. B.
Press Corn } I got 2 big Wagon & 3 little ones, & Preston got 2 big Wagon/ & 2 little Wagons of Corn
William Martha Wm D Mayes } William got home at night from B. B. Martha is much better, Wm D. Mayes is up Came yesterday the 18th

Th 19 It was clear all night but clouded up at day light Verry calm & quite cool ground froze. The weather has moderated.
Preston & Georges Corn } Preston & George got 2 large & 2 little Wagon loads. I got 2 large & one small Wagon load of Corn today, brok the belt couplin of my Wagon & George went to Town this evening to Git it mended. Will git it in the morning.

Fri 20 The morning is cloudy & sprinkling rain Wind in the S. E.
Margaret Margaret rode the black Mare & Lorra behind her & went to Town
Preston Corn } Preston took Jack's Wagon load of Corn to Town to sell, he took it out of his Crib, he got $2.00 pr bl.
