-296 My weakness & feebleness is about likt it has been. My trip to Town yesterday tyred me but upon the whole I think it Rockaway ) Mare ( done me no harm. I feel as well as usual this morning folded ) The Rockaway Mare (Olin) folded, Mare Colt, Sorrel some white on both hind feet tollerable good verry crooked in hind legs yet.

Mon 14 The morning is clear calm & cool It commenced raining last Rain night at dark rained a verry rain until 12 at night. I sent Corn 9 3/4) 9 bushels & 3/4 of Corn to Matthew's Mill, and got 8 bushels Meal 8 ( toll 1 3/4) of Meal. I measured the Corn in my half bushel & give it good Measure & I Measured the meal when it come back carefully & it lack 1 bushel & 3 pecks I reckon that was paid out for toll. Jesse S. ) Harris ) I went to Town found Jesse S. Harris Issuing cirtificates to Voters he don't appear to be verry particular to who he gives them to isssued about 400 today mostly young men that never votes

Tu 15 The morning is clear calm & quite cool all hands are at work Andy is trying to plow in the Corn next the Spring with Bell Mule Wm William went to Town came home in a verry bad humor at every body Went to bed eat no supper Mad at me Thomas Thomas & family has not returned. Davis the carpenter came to Davis go to work but posponed it until Thomas comes home Will be back Monday.

Wm Stephen Wright was here a little while Wm went to Town he says

nothing but appears mad & verry much out of sorts, treats me

Dogs ( Some evil disposed person or persons within a few days, have poisoned ) and ( poisoned with strick-nine several hundred dogs in and around killed ) the Town of Columbia and in doing so have poisoned hogs poltry

that has got to it, they have killed many of the most valuable

yard dogs & other dogs that has been greatly apprised by there

owners. The Citizens are trying verry hard to find out the

Guilty ones they are verry angry about it. I hope they may

find out have them punished if possible. George P. ) George P. is plowing again he has finished plowing over the

Corn next the Spring. Bell's sholders is verry sore

Self ) relished it verry much & took of my flanner shirt put on

& went to Town after dinner My General health during the week

has been verry feeble & but verry little use of my self Verry

much palseyed all the week, until yesterday & this morning I

have much better use of my self this morning

every way some times from the North & some times from the East Weather & South E. Wind is blowing every way (indicates a storm, tho

yet it is verry warm, 9 oclock) I feel better this morning

not so much palseyed & Week as I have felt for some time rode

from Washington I think he is a detector I givd him copy Andy ) worked ( of J. M. 18 May ) Our Flour is out that we got on the 18th day of May, 50 lbs Flour ) ( making 37 days that is using over 1 1/4 lbs per day ) ( 50 lbs 4 qrts 37 )200( 5 15 Qrtes. 185 37 15 at this rate it will take 490 3/4 lbs a year to do us at

$9. per 100 lbs ---------------- in all $51.85 pr year.

Flour ) I got to day in Town 25 lbs of Flour $2.50.

Self ) When I went to Town I find Jno D. Moore's wife a selling off Town ) every thing him gone & she prepairing to follow to the South.

E. & a little cool. June ( Mon 28 ) I maled letter to R. E. Glascock U. S. Marshal asking him to Marshal ( E R Glascock ) send a deputation to Dooley to collect the debt upon Jno D. J D Moore ( Dooly ) Moore Williams & myself I went to Town got out attachment by Williams ( Attachment ) J. D.Moore had it brot on Moore's property by Dooley enough to

pay the debt. ------------------------------------------
