6^th March finished reading [Sympathy]

7^th March 1859. Begun Peabody's sermons

30^th March wrote the second time to Philadelphia about our dar-
lings monument.

8^th April 1859. sent the breast pin to Frank with Anna's hair.

14^th April 1859. received the drawing of Anna's monument.

15^th April 1859. wrote to Barid sending inscription.

4^th June Hora Jones died

5^th June Jim came from Laurens.

9^th June received M^r Bairds letter saying the monument
had been shipped 4^th June, & 9^th I wrote about
Marble Vase.

29^th June 1859. The monument arrived to day for our
darling Anna.

8^th Nov received M^r Bairds letter about Vase.

21^st November 1859. Planted 24 Trees in our inclosure
in the Church yard, sacred to Anna.

20^th December received letter saying Vases were shipped

6^th July 1860. wrote to M^r Baird for Frank's
monument.
