Saturday 28th March 1863 another very Rainy day
Monday 30th March 1863 Cloudy cold day at Rained
a great deal ground verry wet
cant plow for several days verry cool
peach Blooms just begining to open perhaps
are full blown

Saturday 4 April 1863 sowed 2 Acres in flax
seed to day at the Fulford Barn & House
been Raining & Cold all week [done?] but little
plowing & have planted no corn peach
Blooms not all open yet quite cold & windy
to day we have listed some corn growed
& are ready to plant but it is Too cold
not qjuite done breaking corn [ear?] yet

Monday 6th April 1863 Commenced planiting
corn in corner nexts to tho Academy
verry cold for Three weeks been warm
weather heavy frost this morning peach blooms
not all open yet
Beded a Second bed of Sweet potatoes
run & Turn plows in shop field braking
corn ground
Sent [?] sheep to the GinsTown pasture
