RESOLVED that the Chancellor and Athletic Countil at North Carolina State College be authorized, in their discretion, to employ a head football coach at an annual salary not to exceed $15,000 per year, subject to the approval of the President of the University.
On motion of Dr. Poe, the Secretary was instructed to send a telegram of sympathy to the family of Dr. J. Y. Joyner, and the Governor appoined a committee consisting of Mrs. Lathrop, Mr. Pearsall and Mr. Clark to draft a suitable resoltuion on behalf of the Executive Committee with instructions that copies be sent to the family of Dr. Joyner, to the Press, and spread upon the minutes of this Committee.
The meeting adjourned.
