William Marvin Whyburn, Kenan Professor, Department of Mathematics, is recommended tor a leave of absence with salary, September 1, 1964 to April 1, 1965 to accept a National Science Foundation Fellowship at the University of London.

Donald Rowe Matthews, Professor, Department of Political Science, is recommended tor a leave of absence, without salary, September 1, 1964 to accept a fellowship at the Center for Advanced Study of Behavioral Sciences at Palo Alto, California.

Raymond Dawson, Associate Professor, Department of Political Science, is recommended for a leave of absence with partial salary of $3,500 for one year beginning September 1, 1964, to accept a fulbright grant to Kings College, University of London.

William Hamburger, Associate Professor, School of Business Administration is recommended for a leave of absence without salary, for one year beginning September 1, 1964, to participate in the research program of the Institute of Defense Analyses, Department of Defense.

James B. Meriwether, Associate Professor, Department of English, is recommended for a leave of absence, with partial salary of $1000, from September 1, 1964 to March 1, 1965, in order to accept a Guggenheim Fellowship so that he may complete a bibliography of the writings of William Faulkner.
