This Indenture made the twentieth day of November in the third year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third &c. Between Henry McCulloh of Turnham Green &c. of the one part, and Henry Eustace McCulloh Barrister of Law & only Son of the said of the said Henry McCulloh of the other part Witneſseth, that whereas &c. -

Now this Indenture Witneſseth that as well for and in consideration of the natural affection the said Henry McCulloh Beareth his said son and of five shillings in hand paid by the said Henry Eustace McCulloh to the said Henry McC. - the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged; and also, for & in consideration of the rents covenants provisions & argreements herein after mentioned to be done and performed by & on the part of the said Henry Eustace McCulloh his heirs and aſsigns, the said Henry McCulloh. Hath for himself & his heirs. Given, Granted Bargained sold and Confirmed, and by these presents Doth Give, Grant, Bargain, sell & Confirm to the said Henry Eustace McCulloh]his heirs and aſsigns forever. All that piece & parcel of Land lying and being in the County of Rowan in the province of North Carolina in America, being part of the aforesaid Hundred thousand Acres of Land commonly Called or known by the name of the tract No. IX. Beginning at a Black Oak marked with an [symbol M]3 Chops and a Blaze in Henry Sloans line about 160 poles from said Sloans corner a Willow Oak standing on the North Bank of the Gadkin river, runing thence West 680 poles to a Hicory in the Boundary line of the Great tract marked with [symbol M]3 chops & a Blaze, then along said Boundary line South at 64 poles Croſsing the said river Just above the Mouth of the sandy Branch at a Bed of Rocks in the River the same Course continued croſsing the Trading path in all 764 poles to a scrubby White Oak in the said Boundary Line Close upon Crane Creek markd with M3 Chops and a Blaze, thence East 680 poles to a post Oak & a small pine both markd with an M3 Chops & a Blaze, thence North at

at 604 poles Croſsing the said River to a Henry Henry Sloans Corner a Willow Oak as aforesaid then along said Sloans line (in all) 764 poles to the first Station including the Island and Water as Marked in the plann (exclusive of 360 Acres Deeded to George Bruner) And containing in the Whole Twenty nine hundred and five Acres of Land all which promises are now perticularly described and set forth in the planns or Mapp thereof hereunto Annexed; with all rights of priviledges of Hunting, Hawking, Fishing and Fowling, with all woods waters & Rivers with all profits, Commodities or Hereditaments to the same belonging or appertaining. To have and to hold &c.
