Board of Trustees of the University of No. Carolina
December 8th 1795

Resolved that Gavin Alves be
and he is hereby appointed Treasurer, on his entering
into Bond agreeably to the Ordinances of this
Board, and if the said Gavin Alves shall not
accept the appointment, then James Hogg,
John Haywood William Hinton and Walter
Alves, or any three of them, be and they
are hereby authorized to appoint some other
proper person to fill that office.
