[March 8, 1802]
Brother,
Inclosed is a bond of Mr. O. Bryan late of Louborough
Mr. Keef put it into my hands for collection, requesting me
to bring [illegible] immediately unless he would pay it into your
hands-- If the money be paid, or likely to be paid before
May, you may retain the Bond- I will answer to Mr. Keef
for what sum you recieve, as soon as you give us notice.
I have lately understood that Ferguson against whom I sent
you a small demand is gone, most likely to perdition you
will therefore send me the bond - - - It appears you are
still purchasing cotton it should be done with caution
its price has fallen to the Northward _ Tobacco much [illegible] corn
and pork low. Wheat has risen a little in Peterburg
By the same post I inclose you seven small Bank notes
amounting only to $100 - it is the small gleaning of
my present circuit. When I have more in my power
it will be advanced ------

My best respects to my Sister
Your Brother
C.W. Harris

Judge Libgreaves was interred yesterday - he died after a
whole winter suffering
