I wish you not to show that letter- Your brother William has totally abandoned the idea of ever leaving North Carolina. What I shall do is a matter upon which I am unprepared to give an opinion at this time. When I get home, I will endavour to give you a fair and impartial statement of the prospects which the West hold out, and we must then consider the subject with that attention which its importance demands and calmly resolve upon what course we had better pursue. - I must conclude for the present hoping soon to see some of that beauty, with which the skill of Dr. Dillon has invested you - kiss the children for me and believe me as ever
