more to be necessary, because, as you have
no use for the property but for my benefit.
I am quite sure, you will readily give
me the election to take it whenever I shall
be able to re-imburse to you the price
you have paid or may have to pay for it,
which I shall avail myself of the earliest
of opportunity of doing consistent with
the discharge of other & previous engagements.--
I shall see Thomas & John tomorrow
& very soon afterwards will inform you
of the result of our consultation, if different
from the impression now pervading
our minds here.-- We have a Sale
here tomorrow of surplus stock &c; which
is now likely to be more extensive
than we anticipated; because if I conclude
to move I see no use in keeping any thing
but what we will want at our new home,
as I shall try to dispose of the land itself as
soon as I can.
With love & blessing to all with you,
I remain, Dear Sir, most affecy--
Your friend,
Thomas Ruffin
