Dear Sir.
I write you a note to inform you that
I am in need of some money & remembering
that you bought in the winter of 1861.002 a
lot of fruit trees. you will excuse me for prese-nting the act for payment.
In doing so I use the same rule with all
who have recd trees and all in arearz [ARREARS] that is
I charge present prices
At the old prices your bill was $35.60
one third added 17 80
at present prices it is $53.40
which sum you will please pay to my
son R M Stockara if convenient if not
please close by note
