full & feel justly well broken down-We had beautiful
weather until we reached Bristol which was Saturday mid night
it has rained heavily ever since but- fortunately every time
we have changed cars it has stopped raining & when we
crossed The [Samilec?] river which we had to do in a very small
ferry boat & walk up & down muddy banks This [sun?] almost [shone?]
out which brightens [smallest by?] much I do not believe The children have
gotten a drop on them all this way through.- It has been very hard work for
Mr. Collins for besides looking after us & this Negroes who seem perfectly
