Hillsboro NC March 2 '66

Dear Marg I think it is high time that I was obeying your commands. But I think, when I tell you the reason why I have not written to you you will excuse me. You know that I promised to write to you on last Tuesday but I really have not had time, I studdied till nearly five oclock & then I went hard to work in the garden. But you must this hasty written letter, I will now go on and give you my directions. You must obey these, Give my respects to Miss Millie and ask her if she will allow me the honor to write to her, By all means in the world you must not let her see this bad written letter. Tell her visiting would afford me more pleasure than to write to her. And if she says so you must answer immediately. Father and Bennehan have gone down home to day. Tell Aunt Maggie Pauline will write her a special letter, to thank her for the [cont?]
