Stagville June 14th 1804

I was very glad to hear my dear Duncan Cameron
that you did not suffer so much from the excessive heat
of the sun on Sunday as I was apprehensive you would & as
the weather had turned much cooler I hope you will get over
the fatique of the courts without geting sick. I hope to see
you the last of next week. Our dear little girl and
the White family are quite well. Poor Agga was attacked the
night before you were at the platation with a kind of
derangement which continued but for a short time, it
returned upon her again on Saturday. The overseer sent down
on Sunday and my Brother went up and had her brought
down on Monday we sent for Doctor [Umstiad] who says
her case is not dangerous one but that it may be some
time before she recovers. The family unite with me in
love to you. Adieu my beloved Husband may kind Heaven
bless & protect you
