I George Hairston of Henry County doe Promise to Pay Thomas Cooper of Sd County one Waggon & Teame with five Horses, to be under Eight years old & Should we not agrees the Price to be fixed on by Joseph Martin & John Redd, Which Value is to be One Hundred Pounds to be Paid by the first day of October Next Ensuing, wlso Six Negroes three Girls & three Boys to be equal to a Negroe Boy the Property of Sd Cooper, Which Size is at this date to be Taken, by the aforesaid Martin & Redd, & the aforesaid Negroes to be Equal to Said Sam, When Payable, at Fifty Pound Each, also one Hundred pound in Cash, also, one Hundred & Twenty five pounds in Goods in Petersburge at one Hundred, Per C t, advance, to be paid at or Before the fifteenth day of November Ensuing this date Which Payment Well & Truly to be made & I bind To myself my heirs & in the Final Sum of Twelve Hundred & Fifty pounds of Like Money In Witness I hereunto Set my hand seal this 1th day of March 1790
