On the Ogeechee River there are 6,550 Acres planted in
Rice, which at 50 Bushels per Acre (the lands are said to be not so much
worn as on Savannah River, & to produce more) would yield 327,500 Bushels
all (or the greater part) of which is sent to Savannah.
