My Boiler at Hermitage is 24 feet Long & 3 ft Diametre

It is 55 feet by 15 Decked, Roofed, &c, &c complete

My Present Flat built of Cypress is 45 ft long by 13 wide Carries 50 Bbls

where the Beater & Rakes are situated has an Elevation of 9 Inches in 2 feet
The Elevating Side Pieces are made of Scantling 14 by 3 Inches & 40 feet Long.
The Elevating Frame is 3 feet from out to out on which are places
5 wooden Rollers on top & 3 Rollers at the Bottom each 4 Inches Diametre
(but 5 inches will do as well) These Rollers are short of 2 ft 6 Inches Long
The Elevating India Rubber Cloth (got from Hatch Charleston) is 30 Inches Wide
The Window Made in the Brick Building to pass the Elevators through
(is Rather Wider than necessary perhaps) it is 3 ft 9 Inches Wide
