The Society

Lebanon 14th May 1818. The Union Library Society
met according to the direction of the constitution. Maj.
William Steele is appointed president H. L. Douglass
Secretary & Thomas B. Reese David McMurray & William Donnell
inspectors.

The exchange being made -- Walter Carruth drew the
first number whereupon the Society having squandered it
(?)
ordered by the president that the meeting at adjourn until
the meeting in course
