All our parental sages
When did commence at their expense
The States republic ages
Then let us prize those legacies
Which their blood sealed in martial fields
Will not resign while breathing
Who will refuse all means to use
For freedom's sake an honor
Those rights to save all which we have
From an almighty donor,
We'll drink their toast whom we love most
And having peace enjoy it
Health to the fair who'l only share
Her love to a patriot

Jars & divisions will doubtless be found
Among men, while selfish passions abound
Misled by the spirit of party astray
Each flatters himself he's in the right way
So names in religion & politics say
Known to the world the sov'reign will has been
Naught but refusal base can lie between
O! that the sons of men would freely yield
Expel resistance & make faith their shield
Proud of the constitution of our state's
