Sounding Titles and rich attire
Are not what cause true desire
Lovely manners virtureous arts
Leave greatest weight on honest hearts
Youthful beauty action & airs,
Have but delight which time impairs
All virtuous joys are more refined,
Reflecting from a pious mind
Pr dance and peace will pleasure give,
Each moment growing while we live
Revere'd by all is honest truth,
But more esteemed in blooming youth
Religion pure with all these joined,
Each in their turn rejoice the mind,
Virtues like these can well bestow
A guard; to shield from every foe
Reserved thro' life such guards in sight
Death & his terrors can't affright
