I beg you to send Jerry a Pair of Pantaloons_ I will pay for them_ as I
did not expect he would leave the mill, and it was out of our Power to
clothe all the negros, I put him off, intending to do it as to him after
the sale_ We have no suitable cloth for his Pantaloons_ I have promised him
a Pair_

I send to you a letter to Dr Hunt which I wish you to
deliver to him at Granville on next week. I wish to get for him the
[underlined] Boundaries of the several tracts of land he conveyed to my Brother_

I am engaged day & night with my [?] reports, they
have been long in my way, and I am determined to finish them and have
them out as soon as possible_ Mr Gules informs me he will print
them immediately_ I have forwarded nearly manuscript enough for
the first Volume_

I feel an entire confidence of future success, & my
spirits are as cheerful as I wish_
