I am sorry that I am unable
to attend Court this week owing to the indis-
-position of one of my children. I was in hopes
I sh^d have been able to make some arrange
-ment with you respecting S Williamss bond
either by payment or otherwise. I stated to you
at Raleigh that I would acknowledge the service
of a Writ at this court. which I am now disp-
osed to do but sh^d be glad you would postp-
-one the business until May Court. When
we will confess a Judgment or pay the
money. In haste
