It is painful to me to trouble you so often by little notes but you know my situation and that it is not convenient for me to come to this country. The Sheriff is certainly liable to an emersement if the Boy or the money is not delivd, and it certainly is your duty to attend to it immediately and see the business effected one way or the other which I trust you will do to day that Mr. Brewer may bring either the boy or the money directly or see the power John Bruce has and direct him how to act yours &c. 21st March 1822

You will be good enough to send us the [Supoendias?] which Jos. Wilson Esqr handed you when he was at the Supreme Court. It is in the case of the State Bank against us. Your early attention is solicited.
