PM about town as usual -- Through at office at 2 -- About down town awhile, talking etc -- Bed at 3 -- Today at Carson, Nofsinger was awarded the $500 reward for capturing the murderer, Clarence Gray, & will consequently get the other rewards offered -- $1150 in all --

The same -- Got a $20 postal order today and mailed it in letter to wife -- U S Senator Jas G Fair arrived at Carson this morning from Washington -- Came up here this PM in a buggy, arriving at about 5 PM -- At 8 he had a grand serenade by
