Clear & pleasant -- Rose at 8 -- Was at depot and saw the morning trains come in -- on time -- Went to the capitol at 10 -- Wrote most of day on report -- of wind up of the session -- About 2 1/2 columns of it -- Legislators busy cleaning out their desks etc -- & getting out homeward -- I bundled up my desk contents to take to Va &

left it at Harry Summer's saloon near the depot -- Sent my letter to Enterprise by conductor Jerry Bray -- Took evening train for Reno -- Met George Stenhouse at Reno depot -- He gave me a book just issued by his mother, "An Englishwoman in Utah" -- Had long chat with him -- Home -- found all right there -- Bed at 10 --
