Same -- Evening at the Opera House -- University Cadet Corps, of young men in general variety show. Drill good and acrobatic interlude especially good, all the rest, plays, etc not much good. Show not as good as that given by the Young Lady Cadets from same institution, at Virginia, Jan 19th. Had a fair house -- not crowded at all -- Bed at 1 --

Cloudy, blustering and cooler - Sent letter to wife -- Bed at 12 --

Cooler, blustery and dusty -- Assembly at 10 AM, Senate at 11 -- Short noon recess -- I got none -- Assembly held five minutes evening session -- Wrote a letter to wife & one to Kinzle and bed at 12 --

Tuesday March 12

PM cloudy -- Light snow squalls about 6 PM. Senate held an evening session. I reported -- Bed 12 -- clear & cold --
