Thursday March 14
Variable -- snow all melted off as soon as sun got at it. Both Houses held evening session. I reported. Bed 12.
Friday March 15
Clear, cold & pleasant -- Both Houses evening session -- Bed at 1 -- Through at 10. I went to Opera House -- Play was "Fritz in a Mad House," by JK Emmett, son of old Joe Emmett deceased. Nothing like his father -- Not very good play or first-rate company. Fair house -- Rec'd $20 from Journal today -- Bed 1 --
Saturday March 16
Clear & pleasant -- Last day of the session, and the hardest & liveliest for the reporters -- The gavel fell at 12 in both Houses, and the 17th Session of the Nevada Legislature ended -- I was about town awhile -- Bed at 1:30 --
