Hadn't seen him for a good many years, but we knew each other at once -- Met Sam on sidewalk when got to Reno -- Hardly knew him in his University Cadet uniform -- He & Alf commenced there a week or two ago -- Went with me to Pavilion -- Big crowd -- Met Alf and sent Sam home to bring Goodie -- We took a look at the agricultural showing in lower hall, then to upper Hall, where Roncovieri great American Bray band was playing and giving
