just across the hallway -- PM, Wilcox tore out the partition between 10 and 9, so completely wrecked my room -- Mrs R came, and they moved my bedding into No 14 -- Evening I went there and made up a bed on floor of No 12, from my old mattress & bed clothes, for I knew not where else to lay my poor head -- Was at Arlington & elsewhere and went to bed at 11 -- tired & discouraged from my "moving on" -- Thermometer 35 1/2° on Sunday was the hottest yet, of the season --
