Same --Bed 12 -- My letter of last Saturday was in SL Tribune Feb 25 -- that came today -- one column, fine type -- The Assembly held evening sessions tonight -- I didn't attend --

Thursday Feb. 28

Same -- Finest day of the season -- About 65[degrees] -- springlike and bland -- grass greening up in the State capitol grounds -- Attended well to my double reporting job, even to visiting the Appeal office in evening to see that portion of my report got in all right -- Managed to get off a 3 page letter, about 500 words to the Reno Ledger -- Evening about town short time -- Bed 1 -- clear and moderate -- no frost -- Streets drying up very fast -- even getting dusty in places -- My letter of the 23rd to the Garnerville Record was in it today -- 1 1/4 columns -- Met George E Vardy of the Wells Herald in town this PM -- we shook hands and passed along -- first time I have met him since our falling out -- He is a dam stinker all the same --
