OLD-TIMERS.

Two of the Original Locators of the
Gould & Curry.

Old man Gould, one of the original locators of the Gould & Curry mine, came in on a business and social trip from Pizen Switch yesterday afternoon, where he is located in business. One of his first maneuvers was to hunt up his old chum and fellow-locator in the historic old mine― old man Buchanan, who has resided here continuously almost, and is now employed in the mines. The two old-time pards met last evening in the Bank Exchange Saloon and swapt lies to their mutual heart's content till the small hours of the morning. Mr. Gould claims to be but 70 years of age. "Don't you believe it," remarked Mr. Buchanan to the REPORT reporter; "he is 85 to a minute, if he isn't already over 100, which I strongly suspect. He has been playing that old-maid game on me ever since I first knew him, the sly young dog!" Mr. Gould will shortly return to his business at Pizen Switch.
