Mr. Carlton Kendall
Dear Mr. Kendall:
At the present time -- and since early last fall -- as you may already know or have heard -- I have made arrangements for the sale of the Desert Inn. Deed and papers are now in escrow -- but whether or not the interested party will be able to fullfill agreements and take over property is another question --
I am writing you this so that in case you are still interested in my property -- I can keep you in mind when option expires
The club is already a big success

from the stand point of income -- but the income goes to me until this property is taken over and not to other party.
This March income was greater than even June of last year -- already we have reservations for May and June
If the sale of property fails to materialize then the club name and membership is entirely my property -- and I shall continue to run it as a Club rather than a hotel open to public.
Kindly keep this matter confidential -- also let me know if you will still be interested in the event this deal doesn't go through.
Please give my regards to Mrs. Kendall.
Very sincerely yours J. A Marshall II
