Dear Joan & Harry --

Darlings the flowers are so beautiful everyone stops by to see them. I do s appreciate your thinking of me. Ive certainly have had a rough time trying to get on my feet again. But looks like I'll make the grade yet. I have a steel brace on my left leg & with a cane am learning to walk again. '67 was a bad bad year for us. This place is doing a lot of good for me. I can talk again & my face is going back to shape. How did you know where I was? I cant [illegible] how long I'll have to stay & want to stay until I can take the brace off anyway I pray you are both well happy & prosperous. Health what a wonderful thing so take care of yourselves first & last. Thanks again
