The Banquet

Someone aptly said on Friday afternoon "The Summer School is all over but the shouting" so Friday evening was very appropriately given over to "shouting" in the form of an elaborate banquet at the rooms of Twentieth Century Club. Under the guidance of these ladies the menu served was most delicious.

Excellent taste was shown in the decorations of the club house which was beautiful in masses of sweet peas which were banked on the mantel basketed on the tables, scattered over the cloths, and bunched with greens shading the electrics

The menu cards were decorated on the front with this "A Psychological Moment" On the inside cover was the following

Each toast was responded to after a few apt and pleasing remarks by our toastmaster. The Governor being absent, Regent Cobb was asked to talk on the subject assigned to Gov. Oddie.

He hastened to assure us that he never could take the Governor's place, but since he was about the regent would bump around in the vacant place for a short time.

Dr. Ordahl either did not play fair or else he has a wonderful power of shutting out the unpleasant and seeing only the happy things. Dr Ordahl may run a risk of losing his position as Summer School Conductor, for if it is as pleasant as he portrays, will all be aspiring to such a position some time in the future.

Mr. McKeown had better look more carefully next time and not give a toast on dairying when
