86. - To give new Colours to Flowers
For Black, take the small Bracts of Alder
Trees
Green - Juice of Rue
Blue - Blue Bottles in Corn
Dry and reduce them to fine Powder
[Mengle?] the dry Colours with
Sheeps Dung, a little Vinegar & equal of
Salt. the Colour must be 1/3 of the Composte
{illegible strikethrough} Lay this Paste on the
Root of a Plant when Flowers are
white. - water with [alchemy symbol] [tengd?] a little
with the same colour - This will do
for Pinks, Stocks &c
The same Proofs for Green
& Blue.
The Earth must be prepared
