days, was so much pleassed
with the people there this
is where Rachael taught
school was at Moline
Porte Byron and saw lots
Now I have received 2
letters from you since
I got home and I felt bad
that you had not told me
about the rout before I
would had gladly used
50 dollars to get to you and
tried to get informed in Chicago
went to two ticket ofices
they told me that the road was
not yet compleated but that
it would be in a short time
had I have had the informa-
tion in Chicago or before that
your last letter contained
I should have bin with
you I calculated to
call on Henry but the
boats had not commenced
running , our trip did not
cost as as much as I had
antisipated. My Dear Wife
would have bin glad to have
called on you, I was bound to
have a trip some where and if my
Friends had bin as handy as her
Friends we should have just as
soon gone to my Friends so
you must not blame me I wanted
to see you very much and hope
some day to be with you all
