GALLOP, No. 2.

Allegro. No. 34

GALLOP, No. 3.

Presto. No. 35

Many times, when a rest occurs at the end of a strain, or elsewhere, (as in the 2d, 3d, and 4th lines of No. 36,) it is necessary to raise the bow from the strings, and place it on them again, more or less near the hand, as occasion may require. All such places will be indicated by the letters RB, (raise the bow;) and when placed on the strings again, the letters or marks for the different proportions of the bow to be used, will be as follows: WB, (whole bow;) 2/3B, (two thirds of the bow;) 1/2B, (half bow).

GRAND MARCH IN NORMA

Moderato. No. 36.

The ♮ placed on C at the beginning of the following line, contradicts that #.
