It is 8 a.m. now and I have already made Lucy‘s
bed and my bed.
It’s still very early and we still have
a little bit of time. Things are behind schedule
a bit today, because breakfast
actually was supposed to be at 8 o‘clock.
To be honest, I don’t care
at all.

It won’t be much longer now until
we see our parents again. Today
I got a letter from Papa again.
Now I have to write to Mama
or Papa. That’s why
I can’t write any more [in my diary].

Now, at long last, I have attended to my
diary (my D) again. It has been neglected
for long enough. It is morning now.
Now it’s already evening and I
am now continuing to write in “Prep” (that is, homework).
I only recently got
into the habit of writing neatly.
I know that I actually
should write in this book every day,
but I just don’t get
around to it. Sometimes I could
certainly write but then, once again, I’m simply
too lazy to do it. Now I feel
like it, however, and have to take advantage of this.
So far I have been living very well here.
Also, the very next
“term” (that is, half-year) I’m going downstairs to
the bigger girls, because I
can’t be together with the little babies.
I’m already
looking forward to it very much. The girls,
however, are not at all nice to me.
